Staying Healthy | There are no health requirements for entering Ukraine. Do not drink the tap water. The taste is horrible due to the high amounts of chrlorine used to disinfect the water. Ukraine also has the highest adult HIV prevalence rate in Europe. Talk to your physician when planning a trip to Ukraine. |
Weather | Ukraine has a mostly temperate continental climate, although a more Mediterranean climate is found on the southern Crimean coast. Precipitation is disproportionately distributed; it is highest in the west and north and lowest in the east and southeast. Winters vary from cool along the Black Sea to cold farther inland. |
