Agra:
With a love story more epic than any Hollywood film, Agra captures history and romance with its distinctive Mughal architecture. Most famously, the Taj Mahal stands as a massive (more than 35,000 sq. feet!) and timeless example. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan as an honor to his beloved wife, today it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.

Jaipur:
With its iconic pink stucco forts and palaces, it's no wonder Jaipur is appropriately known as the Pink City. Explore the magnificent palaces, gardens, and the Amber Fort, surrounded by dramatic panoramic views of the arid landscapes. Ascend by jeep to view the fort’s sprawling complex of courtyards, elegantly-decorated halls, large ramparts, and numerous gates and cobbled paths that reflect the breathtaking Rajput architecture.

Ranthambore:
A former maharaja's hunting ground turned wild jungle sanctuary, Ranthambore National Park is a treasure trove of dramatic rocky outcrops that shelter a 10th-century fort, ruined temples and old hunting pavilions, overgrown tombs, and an array of wildlife. Embark in an open-air vehicle to search for crocodiles, pythons, monkeys, sloth bears, and more. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled—it's also one of the best places in India to see elusive tigers!

Varanasi:
Far in the north of India lies the city of Varanasi, commonly considered the "spiritual capital" of India. As far back as the 11th century B.C., Hindu pilgrims have traveled here to bathe in the Ganges River's sacred waters in the hopes they will be incarnated as a human in the next life. Along Varanasi's winding streets are nearly 2,000 temples, including the Bharat Mata Temple and Vishwanath Temple, the most sacred shrine.
