ASK THE EXPERTS

Q. Egypt is so full of history, what do you consider "must-see"?

A. All we do along our Friendly Planet tour shouldn't be missed by any visitors to Egypt. From the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum heading all the way south along the river Nile to all of the fabulous temples we get to see, it is all important and spectacular. Some of these temples are almost intact after 3,000 years! You must also see the beautifully colored royal tombs around the Valley of the Kings, reaching all the way down to Abu Simbel only 50 miles away from Sudanese border. -Hassan, Ancient History & Egyptology and Archaeology expert, Friendly Planet Guide
