Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart USA
- Depart on your overnight flight to Israel
Full Day Itinerary: Today, depart on your overnight flight to Israel. Aloft, we will have dinner, a little sleep time, breakfast, and the opportunity to praise the Lord for His great creation from the vantage point of 35,000 feet!
Day 2: Arrive in Tel Aviv
1 night at Hotel Dan Panorama, Tel Aviv
- Arrive in Tel Aviv, where you will be met and escorted to your hotel
Day 3: Galilee
3 nights at the Hotel Nof Ginossar. Breakfast & dinner.
- Caesarea/Magiddo/Mount Carmel/Nazareth Village/Tiberias
Full Day Itinerary: After breakfast, you will drive north along the Mediterranean to Caesarea, the Roman capital of Judea. Here you view the beautifully restored theater, and the ruins of the ancient town, its harbor and aqueduct. You travel inland to Megiddo (biblical Armageddon), then continue to Mukrakha on Mt. Carmel, where Elijah defeated the priests of Ba'al. Next, you will visit Nazareth Village, a re-creation of Jesus' boyhood home. You continue to our hotel on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Galilee
Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
- Capernaum/Mount of Beatitudes/Sea of Galilee
Full Day Itinerary: After breakfast you will see the first century “Jesus boat,” then drive to Capernaum and visit the ruins of an ancient synagogue and St. Peter’s house. You will continue to the Primacy of Peter for a special communion service, then to Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, and the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. This afternoon you will take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee At noon, enjoy St. Peters fish lunch in one of the restaurants near Sea of Galliee, before driving to Yardenit for a special Baptism service including robe, slippers and entrance to showers and lockers. Shabbat dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Galilee
Breakfast & dinner.
- Banias/Dan/Golan Heights/Syrian Fortifications
Full Day Itinerary: After breakfast you will drive through the Hula Valley to Banias (ancient Caesarea Philippi) at the foot of Mt. Hermon. You will continue to nearby Tel Dan, where we'll enjoy a nature walk. After ascending the Golan Heights, you visit Mt. Bental, overlooking the site of one of Israel’s miraculous victories in the Six-Day War, and you then return to your hotel for dinner and a time of rest and reflection.
Day 6: Dead Sea
1 night Daniel Dead Sea Hotel, Dead Sea. Breakfast & dinner.
- Mt. Arbel/Beit She'an/Jordan Valley/Dead Sea
Full Day Itinerary: After breakfast, you will begin our day visiting historical Mt. Arbel and get a magnificent view of the Sea of Galilee. Then you drive south via the Jordan Valley to Beit She'an, an extraordinary excavation of an ancient Roman city, followed by a visit to Belvoir Crusader Castle. You will then drive further south to the Dead Sea. After checking into your hotel there will be time for a dip (or should we say float) in the mineral-filled waters of the Dead Sea.
Day 7: Jerusalem
4 nights Hotel Dan Panorama Jerusalem. Breakfast & dinner.

Full Day Itinerary: Today you visit the fortress of Masada, where Jewish defenders made their last stand against Rome in AD 73. Then you continue along the shore of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, where King David hid from Saul, and you will hike to a lovely desert oasis. Along the way you will stop at Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then you drive to our hotel in Jerusalem to enjoy your first night in God’s Holy City.
Day 8: Old City of Jerusalem
Breakfast & dinner.
- Old City of Jerusalem/Western Wall/City of David
Full Day Itinerary: You will begin your sightseeing in Jerusalem by worshiping in the Upper Room, then you visit the Western Wall and the Hasmonean Tunnels. You will also visit the Jerusalem Archeological Park and the southern wall excavations. Then you can browse and shop in the restored Jewish Quarter. You will then explore the City of David excavations and Warren’s Shaft. You will finish by walking (sloshing) through King Hezekiah’s remarkable water tunnel. Dinner and overnight at your Jerusalem hotel.
Day 9: New City of Jerusalem
Breakfast & dinner.
- New City of Jerusalem/Israel Museum/Yad Vashem/Ben Yehuda
Full Day Itinerary: After breakfast you will explore the new city with a visit to the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and you will see a model of Jerusalem during Jesus’ time. Then you go to the Holocaust Memorial at Yad Vashem. Later, you will have free time for shopping and exploring the popular Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall. Dinner and overnight at our Jerusalem hotel. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 10: Jerusalem
Breakfast & dinner.
- Full Day of sightseeing in Jerusalem
Full Day Itinerary: A full day of sightseeing in Jerusalem exploring our Christian heritage and its Jewish roots. Touring will begin with a visit to the Mt. of Olives, walk down into the Kidron Valley past Dominus Flevit (where Jesus wept over Jerusalem) to the Church of All Nations and for a time of worship in the Grotto in the Garden of Gethsemane. Then you continue to the Old City inside the walls, visiting St. Anne’s, the Pool of Bethesda, and the Lithostrata. Next, you will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (possible site of the crucifixion and resurrection) and walk along the Via Dolorosa. Then you can explore and shop in the colorful bazaar. You end your day with a special time of worship, reflection and communion at the lovely Garden Tomb. Dinner at hotel.
Day 11: Return to the USA
- Transfer to airport early in the morning for return flight to USA.
