We just returned from the Best of South Africa tour. It exceeded our expectations on every level. We stayed at wonderful, top-notch hotels and traveled in comfortable air conditioned coaches. The included meals were way above average. We want to especially commend Peter van Kraayenburg, our guide for the first week in the Johannesburg and Kruger area. He was phenomenal! Everyone on the tour pounded him with questions and he answered every one of them with insight and a great sense of humor. This is our second Friendly Planet tour and we are impressed with the value, quality, and thoughtful planning of the itineraries.
