Reservations Agent - Full Time

We're searching for an experienced travel agent to join the reservations team at our busy, growing company. Our ideal candidate is a good team player with a positive attitude, experience in the travel industry, excellent time management and organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and general computer competence are essential. The position is full-time, 9:30AM - 6PM, no exceptions.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Must have 2 years experience in the travel industry.
  • Communicating by phone and email with customers requesting information
  • Taking phone reservations accurately and with patience
  • Researching details about destinations to provide accurate answers to traveler questions
  • Willingness to quickly learn and master our booking software
  • Working with the entire team to handle projects, resolve problems, and provide the best customer service in the industry

Air Department Agent

Responsibilities and required qualifications for the position include:

  • Ability to manage large volume of airline bookings
  • Minimum 2 years experience of airline GDS (Amadeus, Sabre) Experience with airline contracts for pricing, ticketing, and terms and conditions
  • Proven experience in tracking and managing airline block space
  • Proven experience in airfare comparisons, budget v. actual air cost, and cost-effective routings
  • Speaking by phone with customers requesting information
  • Promptly replying to all passenger requests
  • Working with the entire team to handle projects, resolve problems and provide the best customer service in the industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
