Day 1 October 27: Depart USA

  • Board your overnight flight from Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Accra, Ghana

Day 2 October 28: Arrive Accra

  • Arrive in Kotoka International Airport in Accra, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel to store your luggage until check-in
  • Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the burial site of Ghana’s first president
  • Spend some time at leisure for late breakfast or early lunch (on own)
  • Check-in to your hotel for some rest
  • Enjoy a festive welcome dinner with your fellow travelers

  • Board a private coach for a half-day Highlights of Accra Tour
  • Enjoy a guided walking tour in historic Jamestown
