Entry requirements

U.S. citizens must have a passport which is valid for the duration of your stay, though we strongly recommend it be valid for at least six months after your return date. U.S. passport holders do not need a visa to enter the United Kingdom for stays up to 90 days. See the U.S. Dept. of State website for more information.

If you do not hold a U.S. passport, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas and meeting all entry requirements. If a visa is required, we recommend using a fee-based visa service, such as our preferred provider VisaHQ.

Rave Reviews

I just wanted to drop a note and tell you how much I enjoyed this whole experience with Friendly Planet. It was by far the easiest and best tour I have done. From airport transportation at the beginning all the way to return to the airport. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, our room was always very clean and stocked with teas, etc. The breakfast was wonderful, I had no problem picking lots of gluten-free choices. The servers kept our cups full. The bus and boat tour with Frank was a hoot. He made the day fun plus he was so well informed I learned lots of new interesting facts about London's history. Highclere castle was amazing. I thought the Gala was just lovely and the whole evening so pleasant. My meal was perfect and even had some very good gluten-free courses. What a wonderful birthday I celebrated this year. Not sure how I can top it. Thank you so much for all your hard work and planning. I am all ready looking at another trip to Italy and will try and use Friendly Planet again.
