Changing your departure or package

Need to change your plans? In most cases, you can change your departure or package until your final payment due date (generally 91 days prior to departure), subject to the fees below.

After this, changes to your package or departure date may not be possible or will incur change fees.

Customizing your trip

Want to depart from a different city? Stay a few extra days? Add an extra stop? Take two tours, back-to-back? In most cases, it's no problem, and we're happy to oblige. You can request a change when you book. If it's possible, we'll let you know the price and availability.

Depending on the change, a per-person fee may apply (see below), included in your quote. This ensures the same careful research and planning that we put into building our packages. If your change requires additional costs or fees for airfare, extra hotel nights, extra transfers, etc., your quote will include those too.*

CHANGE FEES: Most Changes and Customizations are subject to fees. When you request a change, we will advise you of the applicable costs and fees or include them in your quote. The fee schedule below currently applies.

Once we get back to you with a quote, it's only valid for a limited time. If you accept our quote, we'll add the amount to your balance due, which you can pay by your final payment due date. In some cases, an additional deposit may be required to confirm your change.

For this package, we issue tickets for your flights shortly after you book. Any change affecting your flights should be requested with your booking, and any difference in airfare is due in order to confirm your booking. Any change affecting your flights after we issue tickets may incur change fees assessed by the airlines or require the purchase of new airfare.

* The Fine Print about Changes & Customizations: Fees listed above are for changes prior to final payment and/or airline tickets being issued. Please see the terms & conditions for your package for more information.

† The Carefree Booking policy is not travel insurance. With our Carefree Booking policy, if you book one of our scheduled departures and decide later not to travel for any reason, you can transfer all payments you've made excluding the cost of any issued flight tickets, towards another available departure date or package, with no change fees or penalties. Alternately, you can choose to receive a future travel credit for all payments made, excluding the cost of any issued flight tickets; or you can choose to receive a refund for that same amount, minus a $99 per person future travel credit. You may use these credits anytime and they do not expire, but some restrictions apply. Travel protection premiums may be credited to your new tour provided: no claim is filed; (no vendor penalties such as Air, sea or rail etc have been incurred); and your new trip departs within 1 year of the cancellation of your original tour. Valid for bookings made on or after March 19, 2020. Offer may not be available on all packages, including private and custom group departures and Biblical Journeys. Changes or cancellations requested after final payment due date are subject to our regular change and cancellation fees & policies.
