Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Depart USA

  • Board your overnight flight to Israel from Los Angeles.  Aloft, we will have dinner, time to sleep, breakfast, and the opportunity to praise the Lord for His beautiful creation from the vantage point of 35,000 feet!

Day 2: Tel Aviv

1 night Dan Panorama Tel Aviv. Dinner.

  • Arrive in Tel Aviv
  • Meet your Tour Director-Guide
  • Check-in at your hotel

Tel AvivFull Day Itinerary: Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. Meet your tour director-guide who will assist you with customs formalities and escort you to your waiting touring coach. Then arrive at your hotel with some time to settle in before dinner at your hotel.

Day 3: Jaffa, Caesarea, Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth & Tiberias

2 nights Nof Ginossar. Breakfast & dinner.

  • Mt Carmel, where Elijah defeated the priests of Ba’al
  • Megiddo, Biblical Armageddon, with excavations of 20 layers of civilization

Aqueduct, CaesareaFull Day Itinerary: After breakfast, take a panoramic tour of ancient Jaffa, with its connections to Jonah and Peter.  Continue north along the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea, ancient Roman capital of Judea. View the beautifully restored theater and the ruins of the ancient town, its harbor and aqueduct. Travel inland to Megiddo (Biblical Armageddon), then continue to Muhraka on Mount Carmel, where Elijah defeated the priests of Ba’al.  Then stop in Nazareth to visit the site of Mary’s well. This afternoon view the first century "Jesus Boat" found by members of Kibbutz Nof Ginosar after a drought in 1985 caused the water level in the Sea of Galilee to fall lower than usual, exposing this ancient boat. 

Day 4: Galilee

Breakfast & dinner.

  • Boat ride across the Sea of Galilee
  • Capernaum and the ruins of the ancient synagogue
  • Mt Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount
  • Hula Valley
  • Golan Heights

Mount of BeatitudesFull Day Itinerary: Set sail on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, and visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Drive through the Hula Valley to ancient Caesarea Philippi, at the foot of Mount Hermon.  Continue later to Golan Heights, east of the Sea of Galilee, for spectacular panoramas and a visit to the former Syrian fortifications. 

Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Yardenit, Be’it Shean, Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea

1 night Daniel Dead Sea. Breakfast & dinner.

  • Drive through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea

Baptism service, YardenitFull Day Itinerary: Begin your day at Yardenit, a special site on the Jordan River, for a Baptism service. Continue to Beit She’an, an ancient city which has been extensively excavated and is considered the best preserved Roman-Byzantine city in Israel, with beautiful, colonnaded streets, bath houses, and magnificent mosaics. Travel south through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest known city in the world. It is near Jericho that Jesus was baptized by John. Arrive at your Dead Sea Spa Hotel where you’ll have the opportunity for a dip in the buoyant waters of the Dead Sea and to enjoy the beautiful spa facilities.

Day 6: Masada, Ein Gedi & Jerusalem

3 nights Dan Panorama Jerusalem. Breakfast & dinner.

  • Visit Masada, the last stand against the Romans
  • Enjoy a hike through Ein Gedi Nature Reserve to David’s Waterfall
  • View the Qumran Caves

Cable car, MasadaFull Day Itinerary: Ascend this morning by cable car to the fortress of Masada, where Jewish defenders made their last stand against Rome in AD 73. Continue along the shore of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, David’s waterfall and a wonderful nature center. After a visit to the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, begin the ascent up to Jerusalem and the highlight of your visit to Israel. On arrival, check in at your hotel. 

Day 7: Old City of Jerusalem

Breakfast & dinner.

  • Garden of Gethsemane
  • Mount Zion and the Upper Room

  • Walk the Via Dolorosa
  • Pray at the Garden Tomb

Mount of Olives, JerusalemFull Day Itinerary: Begin your day with a visit to the Mount of Olives. Walk the Palm Sunday path to Dominus Flevit Chapel, and visit the ancient olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Enter the Old City within the walls and walk the Via Dolorosa, the agonizing route Jesus walked with the cross on the way to Golgotha.

Tour the Jewish Quarter including a visit to the Rabbinic Tunnels and the Western Wall, the most sacred spot in Jewish religious and national consciousness, by virtue of its proximity to the Western Wall of the Holy of Holies in the Temple. Each step takes us further into Jerusalem's history.  Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Jerusalem 

Breakfast & dinner.

Shrine of the Book, JerusalemFull Day Itinerary: After breakfast set out on a full day tour of Jerusalem, including visits to the Temple Mount, the Israel Museum, where you’ll view a scale model of Jerusalem during the 2nd Temple Period and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and exhibited.  Continue to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center and memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. This unique museum is also a center for education and research into themes that touch today’s world, as well as a historical account of the genocide perpetrated by the Nazis against Jews and many others during WWII. 

This afternoon, drive to Bethlehem, the biblical birthplace of Jesus, located about six miles south of Jerusalem.  Visit the important sites around Manger Square, then return to Jerusalem and your hotel.

Day 9: Jerusalem

Western Wall, JerusalemFull Day Itinerary: Enjoy a full day at leisure in Jerusalem. Stroll the busy streets of downtown Jerusalem, shop in the Old City "shuk", and explore the many amazing facets of the world's most desired and coveted city. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers before your late evening transfer to Ben Gurion Airport to board your return flight home, departing shortly after midnight. Or, continue on an optional extension to Eilat, Israel’s popular resort city on the Red Sea!

Day 10: Arrive USA

  • Your spiritual journey comes to an end as you arrive in the USA later today.

Full Day Itinerary: Enjoy a full day at leisure in Jerusalem. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers. Return to your hotel for your overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10: Jerusalem/Eilat

2 nights U Magic Palace Hotel, Eilat. Breakfast.

  • Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for flight to Eilat
  • Visit to Underwater Observatory (time permitting)

Coral reef, EilatFull Day Itinerary: Enjoy breakfast at your Jerusalem hotel, then transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your short flight to Eilat. Time permitting, take the opportunity to visit the Underwater Observatory to see the extensive and magnificent corals and under-sea life of the Red Sea, or simply relax and enjoy the pool at your hotel.

Dinner on your own this evening.

Day 11: Eilat

Petra MonasteryOptional Excursion: Petra, $410.00 (per person). Early this morning cross into Jordan at the Arava border and drive to the Nabatean capital of Petra, a secret and mystical city carved more than 2,000 years ago in pink sandstone. Enjoy lunch and a guided tour of this spectacular ancient city, including a portion on horseback. After your tour, return to Israel, arriving in Eilat later this evening.

Day 12: Eilat/Tel Aviv

Breakfast.

  • Evening transfer to Eilat airport
  • Connect with international flight

Swimming with dolphins, EilatFull Day Itinerary: Enjoy the day at leisure in Eilat. Relax by the pool of your hotel or hit the sparkling beach. There are many other exiting options available locally, such as swimming with dolphins, a visit to an underwater observatory, jeep safaris and more.

Transfer early this evening to Eilat’s airport for the short flight back to Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. Connect with your international flight departing shortly after midnight.

Day 13: Depart Tel Aviv/Arrive USA

  • Depart on overnight flight back to the USA
  • Arrive later today
