Constructed in the middle of the 19th century in the city of Ürgüp, Sunak Cave Hotel was once a historical Greek mansion built by the noble family that inhabited it. The cave and rock-carved hotel boast antique artifacts and historical characteristics of the Cappadocia region. When the mansion was converted into a hotel, it was restored entirely faithful to the original design using the same stone extracted from the quarries of Cappadocia and embroidered by the stone masters of Bayburt. The hotel is within walking distance of Ürgüp town center and is a little over 3.5 miles from Göreme Open Air Museum.
