The Scots Hotel was originally established in the 19th Century by Dr. David Watt Torrance as a medical center for people of all races and creeds. This refurbished basalt stone building is consciously located in the center of Tiberias, giving its guest a grand view of the Sea of Galilee. Your experience at the Scots Hotel provides a unique atmosphere of both hold and new, combining original architecture with the modern amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
The 50 modern rooms in the new building allow for peace and tranquility. The historic background of the hotel translates into the decor of each room. The rooms are fitted with cable TV, coffee corner, hair dryer, safe, and are accompanied by impeccable service.

Along with the spectacular views, the restaurant offers local produce in their kitchens including cheeses, locally grown vegetables, and herbs from the hotel herb garden. The gourmet meals presented here are full of color and flavor and are served in a casual atmosphere. The Ceilidh Bar is a great place to socialize with family and friends, especially on the weekends when live music is featured.
