Royal Rajasthan on Wheels
The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, a luxury train, travels a week-long journey through the States of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The journey starts in New Delhi and stops in the classic sites of Jodhphur, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Agra before returning to New Delhi. Personal attendants called ‘khidmatgars’ pamper every passenger.The train comprises of 14 coaches, each named for a royal palace with its royal emblem displayed on the exterior of the coach. Each deluxe coach contains 3 cabins, decorated in the hue of a precious gem. Each cabin includes twin beds, as well as a writing table and chair. Cabins are equipped with satellite television, en-suite bathroom with luxury amenities as well as central air conditioning throughout the coach. Each coach has a common air conditioned lounge where passengers can unwind and relax, read a book or drink a cup of tea, all while watching the countryside go by.
The train includes two restaurant/bars, a spa and gym, lounge and souvernier shop. Meals on board the train are served in two restaurants, each with its own theme, Sheesh Mahal and Swaran Mahal, offering the royal cuisine of Rajasthan in addition to international cuisine. A bar-lounge offers local and international brand alcoholic, soft drinks and coffee/tea.Amenities
