Day 1: Depart USA. Your exotic journey to the Orient begins this evening as you check-in for your flight bound for Bangkok. Your flight departs late tonight.
Day 2: En route. Enjoy Cathay Pacific Airways award winning service as you cross the international date line and lose one day en route.
Day 3: Arrive Bangkok. Welcome to Thailand, the "land of smiles". Morning arrival in Bangkok, the breathtaking capital situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
You'll be escorted to your deluxe, centrally located hotel. This evening meet your fellow travelers at a welcome dinner with Thai dances. Holiday Inn Silom Dinner provided.
Day 4: Bangkok. Following breakfast embark on an included tour introducing you to some of Bangkok's most outstanding Buddhist temples: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable five ton solid gold statue of Buddha; Wat Po, the temple featuring the colossal 150 foot long "Reclining Buddha"; and Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, representing the finest Thai architecture and constructed from white Italian marble. Afternoon at leisure. Breakfast provided.
Day 5: Bangkok. A day to discover Thailand's vibrant and exotic capital at your own pace. We suggest an optional full day excursion to the bustling and colorful Damnoen Saduak floating market followed by a rice barge ride to the Rose Garden, a Thai village featuring a presentation of local arts and customs. You may also take a dip in your hotel's pool or shop to your heart's content. Breakfast provided.
Day 6: Bangkok & Singapore. Today, fly to Singapore, an island gem and dazzling blend of east and west, old and new. Your hotel is on the bank of the historic Singapore River within easy access to the shopping and entertainment area. This afternoon you are free to explore on your own. Day 7: Singapore. Morning tour takes in the Elizabeth Walk waterfront, the Parliament House and Chinatown. Continue to the Botanical Gardens to see exotic orchids and rare flowers, then ascend Mt. Faber for a panoramic view. Afternoon at leisure. Breakfast provided.
Day 8: Singapore & Bali. Morning free for independent exploration or shopping around Singapore. Later, fly to the tropical island paradise of Bali. Settle into your oceanfront deluxe hotel located in the heart of the exclusive Nusa Dua Beach area. Melia Bali Resort, Nusa Dua Breakfast provided.
Day 9: Bali. Today embark on a full day excursion to discover the wonders of Bali, the "Isle of Gods". First, attend a performance of the famous Barong Dance in Batubulan, the stone carving center. Then see local craftsmanship in Celuk, famous for its gold and silver and Mas for wood carvings.
Visit the Elephant Cave before arriving in Kintamani for a magnificent view of the active volcano of Mount Batur and the crater lake. After lunch (on your own) visit the Gunuang Kwai Temple and stop in Ubud to view traditional Balinese paintings. Breakfast provided.
Day 10 & 11: Bali. Two days at leisure for sun and surf at your hotel's private beach. Shop at the local markets located nearby or join an optional tour. Breakfast provided.
Day 12: Bali & Hong Kong. Morning free for independent exploration or shopping. Later, fly to fascinating Hong Kong. Your luxurious hotel is in the bustling heart of Kowloon, overlooking the harbor. InterContinental Grand Stanford Hotel Breakfast provided.
Day 13: Hong Kong. A morning tour of Hong Kong Island features a ride to the top of Victoria Peak for a spectacular city and harbor view. Then visit the renowned Stanley Market where bargains await, scenic Repulse Bay and the exotic Aberdeen floating fishing village. Breakfast provided.
Day 14: Hong Kong. Day at leisure for shopping or you may join an optional excursion to the Portuguese colony of Macau or to Lantau Island to see the world's largest bronze Buddha and visit the monastery. Do not miss the great opportunity to savor the amazing array of delicacies in this culinary Mecca. Breakfast provided.
Day 15: Hong Kong/USA. Morning at leisure. Later, board your flight home. Your magical journey to the Orient ends as you arrive the USA later today. Breakfast provided.
