MS Perla & MS Emerald

Louis Cruise Lines is a Cyprus-based company with a fleet of 10 ships, two of which have been chosen for Friendly Planet's Athens and Greek Islands Cruises: the majestic MS Perla, and the impressive MS Emerald. The Louis Group became interested in maritime tourism from very early on when it chartered ships for the first time after World War II, subsequently becoming the general agent for many shipping companies. It acquired the first self-owned cruise ship Princesa Marissa in 1986 thereby setting up Louis Cruise Lines. Louis Cruise Lines owns eleven ships total, some of which have been used for NATO conferences, and International Exhibitions. All ships maintain the highest standards of service and quality and are continuously upgraded and refurbished. All cabins feature tastefully furnished interiors with ample closet space and en-suite facilities.

When not exploring the ancient cities of the Aegean, you will be delighted with the array of ship activities and facilities at your disposal. International entertainers and chorus dancers perform nightly in the ship's main lounge, and the ship's band spices the night up with an array of dances from the rumba and tango to the bossa nova and rock and roll.

For those that prefer quiet elegance, the lounge will soothe with soft music and cocktails. You may even take a peek into the disco with its flashing lights and loud rhythms. The creative crew onboard Louis Cruise Lines puts together fashion shows, bazaars, happy hours, perfume seminars and other specialized activities for guest entertainment.

In addition to the nightly entertainment by talented crew members and professional dancers, the ships both feature an elegant piano bar, a nightclub where passengers can congregate with new friends, and a hotel pool for pure relaxation.
