Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Depart USA

  • Your exciting trip to Vienna begins today as you depart for Austria on an overnight flight.

Day 2: Arrive Vienna, Austria

Full Day Itinerary:Schonbrunn CastleUpon arrival in Vienna, transfer independently to your centrally located hotel or choose our optional airport transfer. The balance of the day is at leisure so you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the facilities of the hotel. Or, venture out for your first exploration of the city.

Days 3-5: Vienna

Full Day Itinerary:Vienna Opera HouseEnjoy a full day to explore at leisure or choose one of our optional sightseeing excursions.

While in Vienna don't miss a chance to see the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Rococo Belvedere Palace or Schönbrunn Palace featuring 1,440 rooms surrounded by vast and verdant gardens.

Before you leave the city, you may spend your last night in Vienna enjoying what the city is world renowned for… music. The grand Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Chamber Opera, or the Volksoper – the People’s Opera - no matter what your choice, you will surely be delighted. Be sure to book in advance with your theater of choice as space is often limited.

Day 6: Vienna / Prague

Full Day Itinerary: Bridges of PragueThis morning, independently make your way to the Wien Meidling Rail Station, and travel by train from Vienna to Prague. Upon arrival, you will have the remainder of the day to enjoy the historical capital of Bohemia at your leisure.

Days 6-7: Prague, Czech Republic

Full Day Itinerary:Mala StranaEnjoy two full days to explore Prague at your leisure or choose from several versions of our optional Hop On/Hop Off excursions.

Discover the attractions that draw people from around the globe to this inspiring city. Prague has a significant historical past and there is so much to see. Be sure to visit the National Museum, the oldest museum in the Czech Republic as well as the Josefov (Jewish Quarter) where you will find many historical monuments marking the torrid history and perseverance of the Jewish inhabitants of the city, dating back to the 13th century.

You’ll certainly enjoy the romance of this picturesque city when you stroll across Charles Bridge. You’ll have magnificent views of Prague Castle, the Vltava River, and many of Prague’s famous riverside attractions. If you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Prague, we suggest taking the Prague Funicular Railway, running from Prague’s Lesser Town to the top of Petrin Hill where you can enjoy the natural beauty of Petrin and have a bird’s eye view of Prague and its surroundings.

Day 8: Return to the USA

  • This morning, transfer to the airport independently or select our optional transfer.
  • Later, return to the USA.
