Myanmar is a year-round destination; each season has its pros and cons. October to February has mild temperatures in the 70s and 80s and little rainfall. February to May tends to be dry and very hot, though not unbearable. May to October is the rainy season, though the central part of the country tends to be drier than the coast. 

Except in deluxe restaurants, tipping is not expected.

ATMs are not available in small towns and villages  but you may find them at major airports and banks.

Always notify your bank prior to departure to avoid any problems using your credit or debit card while traveling.
