Monday, Mar 19 : USA/Israel. Departure on the first leg of our overnight trip to Israel. Aloft, we will have dinner, a little sleep time, breakfast, and the opportunity to praise the Lord for His great creation from the vantage point of 35,000 feet!
Tuesday, Mar 20: Tel Aviv. Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. After passing through passport control and customs, meet our guide and drive to Independence Hall in Tel Aviv, where the new State of Israel was declared. Continue to our hotel to check-in and enjoy a stroll along the Mediterranean Sea. Dan Panorama Hotel Dinner provided.
Wednesday, Mar 21: Caesarea, Mount Carmel & Tiberias. After breakfast, we drive north along the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea, Roman capital of Judea. Here we view the beautifully restored theater, and the ruins of the ancient town, its harbor and aqueduct. We travel inland to Megiddo (Biblical Armageddon), then continue to Muhraka on Mt Carmel, where Elijah defeated the priests of Ba'al. We continue to Tiberias and our hotel on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight. Gai Beach Resort Breakfast & dinner provided.
Thursday, Mar 22: Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Yardenit. We set sail on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount.
This afternoon we'll drive to Mt. Arbel, among the most prominent physical landmarks around the Sea of Galilee, located near the sea's western shore in the vicinity of ancient Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene. The mountain's sheer face can be seen from most points around the lake. Below Mount Arbel lies the Valley of the Doves, a natural access route into the lake area and a route possibly used by Jesus as he traveled back and forth to Cana and Nazareth. Late this afternoon we'll return to Tiberias for Shabbat dinner and overnight. Breakfast & dinner provided.
Saturday, Mar 24: Beit She'an, Tabernacle in the Wilderness & Dead Sea. This morning we'll drive to Beit She'an, ancient city which has been extensively excavated and is considered the best preserved Roman-Byzantine city in Israel. Visit the colonaded streets, bath houses, and magnificent mosaics then continue south to Kibbutz Almog, where we visit the Wilderness Tabernacle, a full-scale replica of the Wilderness Tabernacle where God chose to commune with His people Israel, as they traveled through the desert on their way to the Promised Land. After a visit to this remarkable site, we'll continue to our resort hotel at the Dead Sea in time enjoy some of the wonderful facilities. Magic Nirvana Resort Breakfast & dinner provided.
Sunday, Mar 25: Masada, Ein Gedi, Qumran & Jerusalem. After breakfast, ascend to the fortress of Masada, where Jewish defenders made their last stand against Rome (AD 73) then continue along the shore of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, David's waterfall and a wonderful nature center. On to Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, then drive north, up to Jerusalem, highlight of our tour. Dan Panorama Hotel Breakfast & dinner provided.
Enter the Old City within the walls and walk the Via Dolorosa, the agonizing route Jesus walked with the cross on the way to Golgotha. We'll also see the Burnt House of Kathros where we'll enjoy a tour and a fascinating film. Breakfast & dinner provided.
Friday, Mar 30: Israel/USA. Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport and board your return flight to the USA, arriving later this afternoon. Breakfast provided.
Our trip to Israel was the trip of a lifetime and we received much more in Spiritual blessings than any cost of the trip. Our group was wonderful and we have even more friends than when we started.

AIR TRANSPORTATION from San Francisco by Air Canada or other scheduled carriers. The airfare included in the tour price is the lowest applicable fare at the time of printing, July 2006 and is subject to change without notice. Airfare is non-refundable once tickets are issued.
ACCOMMODATIONS are in superior class hotels, in twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. You will receive a detailed list of all the accommodations on your tour, including addresses and telephone numbers, with your travel documents.
MEALS are breakfast and dinner daily. Beverages are not included except coffee and tea with breakfast and dinner.
TRANSFERS & TOURING are provided by modern, air-conditioned touring coaches. All entrance fees to places visited in the itinerary are included except those mentioned as optional.
TOUR PRICE is based on a group of 30 or more passengers and includes flights from San Francisco, hotel accommodations, meals as indicated, touring per itinerary including entrance fees, hotel taxes, and porterage. Our rates do not include passports, or any items of a personal nature. Should group be fewer than 30 passengers, a small supplement to the tour price will apply. All prices are based on air and land tariffs in effect at time of printing, July 2006, subject to change by our suppliers without notice. We will bill each passenger who reserves this tour $290 for tips,airport departure taxes and fuel surcharges and fees, which we will prepay for you.
DEPOSIT of $300 per person is required when placing reservations. Final payment is due by 65 days prior to departure.
UNUSED SERVICES As all tours are based on group travel, no refunds will be granted for missed sightseeing trips, meals, transfers or hotel accommodations not used. No changes in hotels, deviations or extensions in the itinerary are allowed on this tour unless arranged prior to departure from the U.S.A.
CANCELLATIONS of reservations must be made in writing. Refund in full will be made up to 96 days prior to departure, excluding a $50 per person administrative fee and the insurance premium cost of $129. Cancellations within 95 days prior to departure are subject to the following charges:

INSURANCE Cancellation fees are charged by our suppliers and are out of our control. Therefore, in order to avoid costly cancellation penalties should you have to cancel your tour prior to departure, we strongly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance to cover losses. Special group coverage is available through Friendly planet Travel at a cost of $129 per person. Coverage includes Trip Cancellation and Interruption up to a total cost of your tour, medical expense coverage and baggage insurance. Certain exclusions and limitations apply. Coverage includes pre-existing conditions if insurance is purchased by no later than 7 days after date of reservation. If you require pre-existing condition coverage, please check the reservation application so that we can arrange for you to have insurance by the deadline of 7 days after receiving your deposit. Complete terms will be sent with your invoice and confirmation packet. Details of our insurance program are found on our website, www.friendlyplanet.com. We will add the $129 per person premium to your invoice. If you do not wish to take advantage of this special coverage, you need only delete this item from your final payment for your tour.

All tickets and coupons covering transportation or other services and facilities furnished are issued by Friendly Planet Travel Inc., only as agents for such other companies furnishing such services and facilities, and neither they nor their sub-agents shall be held liable for loss or damage to property or injury to person caused by reason of any defect by any transportation company, agent, or any such party providing such service. They reserve the right to withdraw services and make changes and alterations in the itinerary as may be necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the times that passengers are not aboard the plane or conveyances. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchasers of this tour or passengers.
