This afternoon we'll see the first century "Jesus Boat", found by members of Kibbutz Nof Ginossar after a drought in 1985 caused the water level in the Sea of Galilee to fall lower than usual, exposing this ancient boat. Buried in a mudbank along the shore of the Sea of Galilee near the ancient town of Migdal for almost two millennia, it was the first (and so far, the only) ancient boat to be recovered from the Sea of Galilee. Later this afternoon, drive to Yardenit, a special site on the Jordan River, for a Baptism Service. Breakfast & dinner provided.

Friday, Mar 23: Nazareth Village, Mt. Arbel. Continue to Nazareth, boyhood home of Jesus. Modern Nazareth is a busy city with a population of approximately 70,000 people. For nearly 2,000 years hundreds of thousands of pilgrims have found their way to the setting which shaped the Man who changed the course of history. Nazareth Village is located on the last remaining tract of virgin farmland, just 500 meters away from where he grew up. Here we'll have an opportunity to take a tour of the village and experience life as it must have been during the time of Jesus.

Nazareth, Israel This afternoon we'll drive to Mt. Arbel, among the most prominent physical landmarks around the Sea of Galilee, located near the sea's western shore in the vicinity of ancient Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene. The mountain's sheer face can be seen from most points around the lake. Below Mount Arbel lies the Valley of the Doves, a natural access route into the lake area and a route possibly used by Jesus as he traveled back and forth to Cana and Nazareth. Late this afternoon we'll return to Tiberias for Shabbat dinner and overnight. Breakfast & dinner provided.

This trip to Israel was the best thing that ever happened to me apart from my relationship with the Lord and being a mother.

About your tour hosts, Pastor Rance & Brandy Cook

Rance and Brandy at the Golden Gate in Jerusalem
Rance and Brandy at theWestern Wall in Jerusalem
Traveling with Rance and Brandy Cook to Israel is always a rewarding experience that changes the way you look at the Scriptures and the Holy Land forever. They both have a passion for God, Israel and His people that is unmatched, and their excitement tends to spill over onto everyone taking their tours, making for an excellent, powerful trip of a lifetime. They also are able to find a balance between lightheartedness of the moment and serious discussions on topics that touch the heart of God.

Rance is a longtime prophecy teacher who makes current events come alive in exciting detail. The clarity of his message is invaluable because of his love for the Bible and his passion to share it with others. Brandy’s sweet spirit is felt every step of the way as she teaches heart-felt, Spirit led revelations from the Word, and leads us in anointed singing.

Rance and Brandy make friends wherever they go which starts with each person on their tours. Friends are easily made with each other because of their example of Prov. 18:24: "A man who has friends must himself be friendly." Because of their ability to make friends easily in Israel, we will have the advantage of meeting with informed speakers that not only will advise us on the Middle East, but also allow time for questions that can only be answered by someone who lives in the Land.

Although Rance & Brandy's tours go to the places most people desire to see in Israel, they also scout out places that are uncommon to visit. These tend to be experiences that are never forgotten. Come with Rance & Brandy to the land of Israel, the Holy Land, Eretz Israel. It doesn't get any better than this!

If you know Rance & Brandy, then you already know that this will be as satisfying and insightful a journey to the Holy Land as you could ever hope to experience. Go with an open heart and get ready to be blown away.
