Best of Vietnam and Cambodia Please refer to this information when making your domestic flight arrangements to your selected international China Airlines flight. The flight information is correct as of April 21, 2008. Schedules are subject to change, and we urge our passengers to refrain from purchasing domestic flights into our gateway cities until you receive confirmed flight details from us. If you are traveling from New York, you will receive your flight schedule in your confirmation packet. Even after flights have been confirmed, changes might still occur. These changes in schedules are beyond our control and solely at the discretion of the airlines. One way to avoid problems with schedule changes is to try and arrive in your gateway city early in the day of your departure. Even better, if your schedule and budget permit the extra time and extra cost, schedule your arrival for the day before your scheduled departure. You can enjoy the sites (both gateway cities offer visitors lots of wonderful things to see and do) and relax knowing you are protected against most connection complications that might arise. In any event, we strongly suggest that you leave plenty of connecting time (at least 3 to 4 hours) between flights. You will need the time to navigate the various lines, security checks and duty free shops you'll encounter, and you can use the extra time once you've checked in for your flight to meet fellow Friendly Planet travelers at the gate. (Wear your Friendly Planet button so others can easily spot you as a member of the group.) Since traveling across international datelines and many time changes can be confusing, please read the following explanation of flights carefully. Los Angeles (LAX) Schedules
For the March 2, 2008 departure from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 7:30 PM on your scheduled departure date. Your flight will depart just before midnight of the same day. You will arrive on March 4, technically two days later. See sample schedule below.
For the March 16, 2008 departures from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 8:30 PM on your scheduled departure date. Your flight will depart just after midnight of the next day. You must arrive at LAX by 8:30 PM on March 16 to check in for your flight, and your flight will depart at 12:10 AM on March 17, the next day. Hence, you will arrive on March 18. For the March 30, 2008 departures from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 9:30 PM on your scheduled departure date. Your flight will depart just after midnight of the next day. You must arrive at LAX no later than 9PM on March 30 to check in for your flight, and your flight will depart at 1:15 AM on March 31, the next day. Hence, you will arrive on April 1. For the September 14 departure from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 9:30 PM on your scheduled departure date, September 14. Your flight will depart just after midnight of the next day, September 15. You will arrive in cambodia September 16. See sample schedule below.
For departures September 21 and October departures from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 9:30 PM on your scheduled departure date. Your flight will depart just after midnight of the following day. You will then arrive in Cambodia the next day. For example, if you have reserved the October 19 departure, you must arrive at LAX by 9:30PM on October 19. Your flight will depart shortly after midnight on October 20 and arrive to Cambodia on October 21. See sample schedule below.
For departures November and December departures from Los Angeles, you must arrive at LAX by 7:30 PM on your scheduled departure date. Your flight will depart just before midnight of the same day. You will arrive in Cambodia technically two days later. For example, if you have reserved the November 16 departure, you must arrive at LAX by 7:30PM on November 16. Your flight will depart shortly before midnight on November 16 and arrive to Cambodia on November 18. See sample schedule below.
