If you've ever dreamed of traveling to the land down-under, with a dash of paradise included, you simply can't afford to miss this wonderful trip! Everyone loves Sydney, Australia's largest and best-known city. Explore Sydney Harbour, the world-famous Opera House, surfing and sunbathing on gorgeous beaches and getting to know koalas, kangaroos and other unique, down-under animals at the Taronga Zoo.
Then enjoy a 2-night visit to the magical island paradise of Tahiti. Experience the legendary Polynesian hospitality as you savor Tahiti's main island, taking time to relax or swim in the warm waters along the scenic coast.
Day 2: En Route. Cross the International Date Line and lose one day en route.
Day 3: Arrive Sydney. Morning arrival in spectacular Sydney, Australia's oldest and most vibrant city. A guided tour takes in the old and the new. See the Harbor Bridge, Sydney's famous beaches, the Botanical Gardens, the celebrated Opera House and the historic Rocks area. Later, join a welcome briefing at your hotel. Corus Hotel Sydney
Day 4 - 7: Sydney. Four days at leisure to explore fascinating Sydney, host to the 2000 Olympics. Your first class hotel is ideally located in the city center near the scenic Sydney Harbor and the renowned Opera House within easy access to restaurants, shopping and many other city attractions. Your local host can suggest optional tours or ideas for independent exploring and dining. You may join an optional Coffee Cruise or a dinner cruise on the spectacular Sydney Harbor. On another optional excursion you'll visit the scenic Blue Mountains and Australia Wildlife Park where you can cuddle a koala! Breakfast provided..
Day 8/Day 7: Depart Sydney, Arrive Tahiti. Late Morning you'll bid farewell to Sydney and fly to the beautiful paradise islands of Tahiti. Cross the International Date Line and regain the day "lost" at the beginning of your trip, arriving in Tahiti on the evening of day 7. It seems as though you're going back in time when you arrive one day earlier! You'll be welcomed with a traditional floral lei and escorted to your deluxe beachfront resort hotel. Day 8: Tahiti. Admire the amazing ocean views as you enjoy a day at leisure in Tahiti. Relax at the beach or the pool, or take advantage of optional guided tours of the island, the colorful central market in the capital, Papeete, the lovely James Norman Hall Home, dedicated to the co-author of The Mutiny on the Bounty, and other sites. You may also take a 30-minute catamaran ride across the bay to Tahiti's stunning sister island, Moorea. Radisson Plaza Resort Breakfast provided.
Day 9: Tahiti/Evening Departure. Enjoy another full day on Tahiti to relax, explore and shop for island treasures. Later this evening, transfer to the airport to board your overnight return flight to the USA. Breakfast provided.
Day 10: Arrive USA. Arrival in the USA later today.

Sydney's Sunset Dinner Cruise
This is an ideal early dinner-cruise for those wishing to attend the Opera or a show later. Depart Circular Quay at 5pm. You'll be welcome aboard with a glass of champagne and canapes and sail into the magnificent harbor. A two course dinner with wine will be served. Return to Circular Quay at 6:30pm (or the Opera House at 6:15pm). Dinner included, transfers to/from pier not included.
Harbor Coffee Cruise
Depart from Circular Quay on a leisurely two hours cruise through the magnificent Sydney Harbor. You'll see the Opera House, the city's skyline and the Harbor Bridge, while listening to interesting commentary and enjoying complimentary coffee. This cruise is available in the morning (10am) or afternoon (2:15pm). Transfers to/from pier not included.
Full Day Blue Mountains and Wildlife Park Tour
Depart Sydney this morning to the Featherdale Wildlife Park for a close up look at some of Australia's unique native animals including koalas, kangaroos and wombats. Do not miss an opportunity to take a photo of you cuddling a koala. Following the trail of early explorers, travel to the Blue Mountains National Park and visit Australia's first giant screen Destination Cinema for a screening of the movie "The Edge," a remarkable insight into the beauty of the park. Later drive along the Cliff Drive to Echo Point where you'll view the famous "Three Sisters" and enjoy the spectacular view. Return to your hotel via the Sydney 2000 Olympic Village late this afternoon.
Full Day Hunter Valley Wineries plus Lunch
Travel north of Sydney across the sparkling blue Hawkesbury River through rolling hills and valleys to the oldest commercial wine producing region in Australia. Along the way pass through a number of picturesque towns with a distinct Australian feel. Visiting several of Australia's world-famous wineries, you'll get the chance to sample a large variety of wines and also enjoy a fascinating winery tour. A sumptuous lunch complimented by fine Australian wines is included. Lunch included.
