We recently completed the South African Explorer tour with the Victoria Falls Extension. It was my first time with Friendly Planet and will not be my last. In fact, I believe everyone on this tour had traveled with FP previously. This was a fantastic trip...from the perfect travel arrangements, to the wonderful accommodations, to the fabulous food. There wasn't ONE hiccup! If that wasn't enough, our tour guide, Pieter van Kraayenburg in Johannesburg, was absolutely terrific! He also accompanied us to the Shiduli Private Reserve and Kruger. Being a native South African, he knew first-hand the history of the country and was clearly well prepared with facts, dates, etc. to answer a myriad of questions from the group. I only wish he could have gone with us to Cape Town too! You guys are awesome!!
