Yu-Gharling Resort & Spa provides five-star quality while redefining affordability. Environment responsibility is one of the resorts top values. The bricks of the resort are all locally made from the excavated soil from where the establishment stands today. All of the building's exterior walls are deliberately painted with vegetable dye and are clay washed to avoid pollution of the surrounding water system.
The resort's location provides breathtaking views of the winding Chamkhar River, temples, paddy fields, villages, mountains, and surrounding wilderness.
Yu-Gharling Resort & Spa has 3 standard rooms with views of the Pine forest as well as 34 Standard Deluxe Rooms with panoramic views of the Jakar Valley. All of these rooms are equipped with a King Size bed or twin bed, tea/coffee maker, wireless internet connection, and hairdryer.
Located on the second floor of the main building, "Soelkhang" offers a multi cuisine menu from an appetizing buffet breakfast and lunch to four course dinner. During a warm sunny day, guests can enjoy a fabulous outdoor eating experience at "Lingkha" and take in the spectacular views of the valley. The resort boasts a separate bar with pool table, foosball, and large collection of wine and cocktails.
"Troekhang", meaning room for resting and enjoyment, offers a large sitting area with different facilities. The cafe offers a variety of herbal tea and coffee with cakes, cookies, and pastries. This is the perfect place to meet or conduct your appointments.
There is a hotel gift shop that offers a wide selection of handmade arts and crafts brought from various parts of rural Bhutan. Intricately hand woven costumes, hand carved wooden masks, post cards, and handcrafted jewelry are all sold here.
For meditation and yoga, the resort has as separate alter hall with a seating capacity of 40. The Spa at Yu-Gharling provides a serene and truly unforgettable experience amidst splendid views of the Jakar valley and the surrounding wilderness while you soaking in the hot tubs.
