Situated high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to
the Zambezi National Park, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoys
uninterrupted views and spectacular African sunsets and is just
four kilometres from the majestic Victoria Falls. From the on-site
waterhole to the thatch finishes and local hardwoods, the theme
of the Safari Lodge is one of human sensitivity to its natural
surrounds.
Designed to give the impression of a vast open-plan tree-house,
the Lodge is built on intricate levels offering magnificent
views of the African bushveld. The use of vibrant fabrics and
rustic finishes, local hardwoods and clay tiles gives Victoria
Falls Safari Lodge an undeniable appeal and unique character.
All
bedrooms have a private balcony looking across the national
park and are equipped with binoculars and nature books. Natural
fabrics and décor with an African theme are used throughout
the lodge. The rooms have remote controlled air conditioning
and ceiling fans. Tea and coffee facilities and room safes are
available, as well as direct dial telephones with self programming
wake-up facility. The standard rooms feature a bathroom with
luxury bath and separate shower.

the Buffalo Bar, Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, and pool deck you will
enjoy not only the wonderful views, but excellent service from
friendly Zimbabwean staff renowned for their warmth and understanding
of the needs of international visitors.
Specializing in a superb selection of Zimbabwean dishes, fish,
a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunter’s stew) as
well as vegetarian meals - diners are invited to sample ethnic
delicacies and observe local customs. The sights and sounds
of the evening are accentuated by Ndebele performers who captivate
guests with their energetic songs and dance. Steeped in mystery,
a witchdoctor can predict your future while the restaurant’s
very own sangoma (traditional story teller) explains the country’s
folklore, culture and heritage.
The
area has become the premier adventure resort of Africa and a
vast range of activities are available to suit every traveller.
Explore the magnificent bushveld from the saddle of an African
elephant! Trips are available during the early morning, when
a surprise bush breakfast is served, or during the late afternoon,
when guests can savor a magical African sunset ~ as well as
sundowners and snacks.

a ride in a helicopter for a spectacular bird’s eye view
of the mile wide Victoria Falls, as well as beautiful stretches
of the Zambezi river and game in the National Park. You will
feel truly close to nature as you explore the unspoilt Zambezi
River above the Falls in stable two-man canoes with an expert
guide. Heighten the experience by enjoying a cooked breakfast
at sunrise on the banks of the river and then stopping for lunch
