Tsara Guest House is a small boutique hotel is situated on a hill in the highlands of Fianarantsoa. This beautiful university town has winding streets and old houses built with bricks and tiles. It is a city surrounded by lakes, vineyards and the only tea plantation in Madagascar. Fianarantsoa is also the gateway to the various national parks and tourist attractions such as Ranomafana National Park, the Andringitra National Park, Isalo National Park, and the Pangalanes channel. The traditional architecture of the main building is an ancient temple which has been renovated into a charming and quaint hotel. The atmosphere is refined and elegant and the staff is friendly and willing to accommodate your needs.
The 18 comfortable and functional bedrooms vary in size but all have en-suite facilities. They are equipped with a private bathroom, shower, phone, & satellite TV. Some rooms offer a private balcony with panoramic views of the town. Electricity is availble 24 houras a day.
The Tsara Guest House has a restaurant which offers a fine dining experience with stunning views of the valley below from the outdoor terrace. The menu consists of traditional French cuisine including Duck Foie Gras and a variety of other chicken and shrimp dishes. The bar serves a wide variety of beers, wines, exotic cocktails, juices, and hot beverages.
