Passing through The Stanley's revolving doors, you leave the hustle and bustle of modern Nairobi and enter into a world of fine furnishings, grand living and cool Victorian elegance. Since 1902, The Stanley has played host to some of the world's most recognizable names, from acclaimed actors and actresses, to renowned authors and world leaders who have stayed there during royal and state visits to Kenya.

Today, after total refurbishment, The Stanley has readopted its original name and much of its original character, with a spacious foyer furnished with leather upholstery, antique brass and wrought-iron fittings.

There are a host of historic features at The Stanley: The Exchange Bar which was the first home of the Nairobi Stock Exchange and the original 'Long Bar' which was acknowledged by the English Sunday Times as one of the ‘Best Long Bars in the World'.

The luxurious guest rooms and suites are exceptionally spacious, comfortable and give a feeling of being home while away from home.
