Built from a dream to share the abundance of the Sacred Valley with its visitors, Sol y Luna has grown from a dream to a beautiful paradise. It now has a team of more than 100 employees. They use local products and offer work to the inhabitants of the valley. The lodge has been built by the materials native to the Sacred Valley including adobe bricks, logs, and stones. The construction lives in harmony with the surrounding environment.
There are a total of 28 cottages and 15 luxury cottages on the property. They are decorated with colorful, joyful Peruvian art. Each cottage is fitted with a hairdryer and toiletries, direct dialing telephone for national and international calls, wireless internet, fresh flowers and chocolate truffles daily, & books and illustrated magazines.
Not only have the Andes Mountains provided Sol y Luna with building materials, but they have also provided the fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in organic gardens. They are used in every dish and drink offered on the menu. From harvesting the produce to carefully preparing the dishes, Sol y Luna pays attention to even the smallest detail. The cuisine of Killa Wasi represents an artistic creation by the chefs who offer a different menu for each season.
