Sentido Crystal Bay Resort
(formerly the Conrad International Hotel Hurghada)
PO Box 20, Safaga Road
Hurghada, Egypt
Located on the Red Sea between rocky hillsides and the Arabian Desert is Hurghada. A small fishermen's village in Egypt ten years ago, Hurghada has grown into a favorite spot for scuba divers and other water sports enthusiasts. It is a place for relaxation under almost permanent sunshine, as it only rains in Hurghada two or three days a year. Hurghada is also an ideal stop-over on the way to or from Luxor.
The Sentido Crystal Bay Resort features 251 spacious and fully air conditioned guest rooms and suites, plus nine elegant villas.
Each room has a terrace and nearly all enjoy a view of the Red Sea. A beautifully landscaped garden separates the two guest room wings, and features the resort's swimming pool in the center and a seafood restaurant at the end closest to the beach.
The main building of the resort includes the lobby, reception, bell desk, travel desk, meeting facilities, three restaurants, two bars, a billiard room adjacent to the bar, a gym with whirlpool, sauna and massage facilities, and a variety of shops. Two wings, north and south of the main building, feature all guest rooms on three levels, gradually coning down to two and then one level as they get closer to the beach.
The Sentido Crystal Bay Resort is in a prime location for access to windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing, banana boating, and canoeing. The resort also features two tennis courts and a multi-purpose sports court with handball/mini-soccer and basketball.
