The Sandoway Resort is nestled amongst coconut palms on the pristine Ngapali Beach in the Bay of Benegal, Myanmar. The resort consists of 56 villas and cottages scattered throughout 6 acres of beach front property and tropical gardens. The resort is designed in traditional South East Asia elegance and is constructed with local materials including various hardwoods, stone carvings, and marbles.
The Sandoway Resort consists of 11 Villas with a beach front view and 8 villas with a sea view. All rooms offer ultimate privacy in an exclusive setting. The Villa's spacious interior seamlessly blends the bedroom and living space which opens up to a private veranda facing the sea. A spiral stairway leads to the Villa's upper level where a private loft with a beautiful picture window showcases the serene views of the garden and sea. Each villa is fitted with mosquito nets, mini bar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, handmade marble bathtub and shower, CD player, separate wardrobe area and hairdryer.
The International restaurant specializes in fresh local seafood including lobster, prawns, and fish bought directly from the fishing boats each morning. Guest chefs from Europe are invited throughout the season to create culinary masterpieces using the freshest local ingredients. The lounge bar located on the open veranda overlooks the beach and is the perfect place for drinks or pre-dinner cocktails while watching the sunset.
The beautiful oversize swimming pool sits quietly next to the library directly facing the beach with its own private bar and snack service. The traditional secluded Spa Pavillion offers a comprehensive range of massages in four treatment rooms.
