Samburu Game Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine forest on the western bank of the Uaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve. To the west, the sheer sided slopes of majestic Ol Olokwe Mountain form a perfect back drop to any photograph. The wilderness surrounding the lodge is home to a variety of animals and birds rarely seen in other parts of the country. Large herds of elephant are seen along the river's banks as well as crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

All 61 cottages, rooms and suites are decorated using the local materials and fabrics. All accommodations have en suite bathrooms, some with baths, and all have private balconies overlooking the river.

Designed in a distinct African style, the restaurant overlooks the Uaso Nyiro River and can accommodate 120 guests. Guests dining here will be entertained by a Samburu flute player. The Crocodile Bar is the perfect place to view crocodiles up close in a safe atmosphere. The Vulturine Bar offers a glimpse of Samburu's abundant and unique bird life and is ideal for refreshing cocktails and light snacks by the pool.
