Sopa calls from the lap of luxury to invite you to experience the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Tarangire National Park on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. The lodge is located on Lemala Hill on the uppermost eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in the volcanic highlands of northern Tanzania. This World Heritage Site has been set aside to preserve and integrate the diverse values and interests of wildlife, local people, archaeology, flora, tourism and the area's environment and ecology. The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is, and will remain the only tourist development on the eastern rim of the crater. It offers guests unique and spectacular views down into the crater and the sunsets over the Western horizon.

Lodge
The lodge can accommodate 190 guests in 92 suites, each enjoying
wall-to-wall carpeting, central heating and a private lounge
with a mini bar. Other amenities include shaver sockets, hair
dryers, private game-viewing balcony, separate bath and shower
and in-room dining. All bedrooms come with two queen-sized beds
and ample room for a third, an en-suite bathroom, and a private
solarium. The views from the rooms are splendid and you can
see teems of wildlife and birds right from the luxury of your
balcony or solarium.
The Hotel’s luxurious swimming pool is a perfect area
to unwind and relax while enjoying the views of the crater floor
below or the sunsets in the evenings.
