Located at the outskirts of the village of Joffreville, the Nature Lodge consists of charming bungalows on the slopes of Montagne d'Ambre National Park. It offers panoramic views of the bay, the Mozambique Channel and Indian Ocean. The Ankarana Special reserve, the Red Tsingy, Montange des Francais and the Three Bays are nearby making this hotel the ideal starting point.
The 12 bungalows that make up the Nature Lodge are made of rosewood and other local materials. Each bungalow has large bay windows which open up to a private terrace. All bungalows are equipped with a double or single bed, private bathroom with a hot/cold water shower, washbasin, and toilet. Internet connection is available in the lobby but is rather slow. Electricity is available in the morning from 6 am until 12 pm and in the evening from 6 pm until 10 pm.
Enjoy the simple, local dishes of the Nature Lodge's onsite restaurant. Inspired by French cuisine, many of the dishes are presented with a Malagasy twist using local ingredients such as coconut, seafood, and products of the nearby mountain. The rosewood furniture and warm colors help create a relaxing ambience. Guests have the choice to eat indoors or enjoy their meal outside on the terrace overlooking beautiful gardens. The cozy bar area is perfect to talk about the days events over a rum punch. There is also a small recreation area with info about the area, books and games.
