Balloon ride at Keekorok Lodge
The Keekorok Lodge offers a unique and luxurious safari experience, blending contemporary African style and the natural charm of the landscape with the magic of the Masai Mara. Spot “The Big Five” on a game drive or enjoy the sunset as you watch hippos, birds, and other animals from the walkway, all without even leaving the lodge.
Room
Accomodations at Keekorok are bungalows built from natural materials. Tastefully decorated with the finest linens and furniture, the bedrooms provide calming views of the plains and distant hills. Each bungalow has private bedrooms and an a bathroom and veranda, which is shared by the guests in the bungalow.
Lounge
Keekorok's open-sided dining room provides stunning views of the Mara. After a day of game-spotting and nature watching, guest can reinvigorate themselves in the refreshing water of the swimming pool. Or, unwind at the lodge's comfortable open air bar and lounge, while watching the nearby hippos and birds.
Gift Shop
Keerokok's shop stocks every conceivable item for a comfortable safari and much more including hand-crafted gifts, paintings, and sculptures. Check out more local artwork at the lodge's gallery. Nature books and documentary films about the region are available for reference in the library. Keekorok's resident naturalist is also on hand to give illustrated talks.
