Dev Vilas Ranthambore was built on 3½ acres of land located near the entrance to the Ranthambore National Park. The traditional Indo-Saracen style of architecture is reminiscent of Shikkar lodges built by the Maharajahs and is directly influenced by the inspirational romance and adventure found at the entrance of the park. Because it was constructed on an eco-friendly zone, the hotel uses recycled water and harvests all rain water.
Dev Vilas has 19 deluxe rooms which were conceived by United States native Ms. Jane Emison. All materials are indigenous to that of the region as well as the craftspeople who helped create this vision with their extraordinary talents. No two rooms are alike, with each room's style and color scheme creating a unique ambience. Each room is fitted with a stand alone shower, bathtub, telephone, cable TV, air conditioning, and minibar.
Fateh's is a bar named for Thakur Fateh Singh Rathore. You will find the artwork here celebrates his passion for tiger conservation. The Audobon Room is an elegant, yet informal dining room which serves fine Indian and Continental Cuisine with option for Al Fresca dining by the swimming pool.
