Cinnamon Wild Yala is located next to the Yala National Park. Known as the home of Sri Lanka’s endemic wildlife, the Yala National Park is renowned for its diversity of wildlife such as the Asian elephant, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, wild boar, and a variety of birds.
The jungle chalets at Cinnamon Wild are an integrated part of this untamed resort that keep you close to the wild. Watch out for the odd elephant or wild boar that may pass by! The rooms are simultaneously rustic and luxurious, equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, mini bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a private porch. The bathrooms are fitted with complimentary toiletries and hair dryer.
Climb a flight of wooden stairs above the reception area and walk into Tuskers, the main restaurant that lets you dine by the trees, especially if you choose to sit on one of the outer decks. Climb yet another floor upwards to the viewing deck and rooftop bar. May you’d prefer a drink and a la carte meal at Pug Marks, the jungle-themed bar on the ground floor. At Cinnamon Wild, they combine locally sourced food and spices with great taste and a forest atmosphere that’s truly incomparable.
