Louis Cruise Lines Ruby

The MV Ruby is a modern cruise ship, with 7 passenger decks and capacity for 800 passengers. This midsize cruise ship is fully air-conditioned throughout and has 2 elevators on board. With first class amenities and an elegant pastel color scheme throughout, the MV Ruby is the perfect base for exploring the Greek Islands.

As part of a major refurbishment in 2006, all of the MV Ruby's 400 cabins now boast new furnishings, carpeting, and wall coverings. All cabins include satellite TV, international direct dial telephone, and an en suite bathroom.

The fitness center on the Ouranos deck has also been renovated and now includes a sauna, massage room, and beauty salon in addition to an array of modern exercise equipment. The swimming pool and whirlpools also have a new look, complete with a special poolside buffet area for guests who prefer a more casual dining atmosphere.

At night, catch a movie at the cinema, unwind at the piano bar, try your luck at the casino, or dance the night away at the disco.

Note: If you've taken a few cruises before, you may be accustomed to large, luxurious ships appointed with every possible amenity. Cruising the Greek Isles is different. Ships (including those of Louis Cruise Lines) are generally smaller and more agile, better suited for navigating the shallow waters and small ports of the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas. These mid-sized ships are practical, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary modern conveniences. But they may offer more basic cabin amenities, less on-board entertainment, and fewer dining options than larger ocean liners. Some meals may feature buffet style service and limited a la carte selections. Think of these ships as good 3-star hotels providing convenient and comfortable transport through the Greek Isles—which are the true reason for your cruise.
