Louis Cruise Lines is a Cyprus-based company with a fleet of 10 ships, several of which have been chosen for Friendly Planet's Athens and Greek Islands Cruises: the majestic MS Perla, the impressive MS Emerald and the MS Sea Diamond. All three ships have established themselves as popular choices among passengers who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, exotic destinations, and a unique on-board ambience that reflects intimacy and elegance.
Greek coastline
The Louis Group became interested in maritime tourism from very early on when it chartered ships for the first time after World War II, subsequently becoming the general agent for many shipping companies. It acquired the first self-owned cruise ship Princesa Marissa in 1986 thereby setting up Louis Cruise Lines. Louis Cruise Lines owns ten ships total, some of which have been used for NATO conferences, and International Exhibitions.

Ship amenities include a dining room, entertainment lounges, piano bar, swimming pool, casino, fitness center, shopping arcade and boutiques, beauty salon, children's club, four elevators, radio room, and a doctor on board.

When not exploring the ancient cities of the Aegean, you will be delighted with the array of ship activities and facilities at your disposal. International entertainers perform nightly in the ship's main lounge, and the ship's band spices the night up with an array of dances from the rumba and tango to the bossa nova and rock and roll. The creative crew onboard Louis Cruise Lines puts together fashion shows, bazaars, happy hours, perfume seminars and other specialized activities for guest entertainment. For those that prefer quiet elegance, the lounge will soothe with soft music and cocktails.

Dining begins with breakfast in the morning and lasts until the midnight international buffet, with chefs and dining staff serving regional specialties while the wine stewards assist you in selecting some of the finest wines from a diverse local or international list.
MS Perla Pool
In addition to the nightly entertainment by talented crew members and professional dancers, the ships both feature an elegant piano bar, a casino and nightclub where passengers can gather with new friends, and a pool for pure relaxation.
