Symbolizing serenity and harmony, the Costa Serena and her sister ship Costa Concordia, redefine the art of rest and relaxation. Every aspect of this ship has been created to cater to the comfort of its guests. The Serena’s opulent décor draws on Ancient Roman mythology for inspiration. The result is a contemporary and artistic interpretation of classical themes—a true feast for the eyes. As the largest and longest ship in the Costa fleet, the Serena’s decks are spacious and panoramic, allowing for optimal sea views.

The Serena features 1,500 deluxe staterooms with two lower beds that convert into a queen-sized bed, direct-dial telephone service, mini bar, satellite TV, on-demand movies, personal safe, and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. 500 cabins feature private verandas.

Treat yourself to a sauna, Turkish bath or shiatsu massage at the luxurious Samsara Spa, a. haven of wellness and relaxing spanning two decks and 22,000 sq ft. Reinvigorate yourself in the ultra-modern and well-appointed fitness center, stretch your legs on the track or tennis/basketball court, relax in one of the four swimming pools or five Jacuzzis, or take part in one of the many fitness classes: aerobics, stretching, body-dancing, step, and more. At night, breathe in the fresh maritime air while enjoying a movie at the open-air cinema. Later, stop by one of the Serena’s 13 bars for a nightcap.
