I had a great time. Our tour guide Hassan and driver, Mohammed, were very patient, friendly, and professional. They were flexible, showed us the mosques, how wool is colored, how ceramics are made, the souks, palaces, etc. I have travelled to many countries and the food in Morocco was the best. Accommodations were good and we were busy from morning until late afternoon, touring and seeing the sites. I would definitely recommend the Discover Morocco tour and am considering other tours by the Friendly Planet.

Our congratulations regarding the tour to Kenya we took with Friendly Planet last October. The tour guide was willing to satisfy our desires for pictures and was clever enough to spot the wild animals. We saw wonderful scenery, such as lions eating their prey and many other kinds of wild animals. All that in a quite relaxing atmosphere, vehicles spacious enough for 6, excellent accommodations, fulfilling my high expectations for an African photo safari. Even though I'm 71 and walking with a cane, this tour was very enjoyable for me.

Hi Friendly Planet is the greatest!! We went to China around Aug. 30, 2010 and returned to USA around Sept. 18th 2010 - 17 days - and it was a super trip!! I just returned from 10 days in China with Friendly Planet. It was an AMAZING tour—everything that Friendly Planet said it was and made even more fun with our national guide David Bai. I have never had anything exceed my expectations this much. David is an excellent guide and made sure everything went smoothly and that we had the best experience possible. I wanted to let you know personally how very much I enjoyed my recent tour with Friendly Planet. This is the first time I have toured with Friendly Planet and my first trip to Ecuador. The experience was everything I'd hoped for....and more! Our tour guide was outstanding. He was very informative, and we were able to learn much about the history of the country from him. He handled an unexpected change in plans (because of the volcano eruption) flawlessly and very professionally. A trip to [Egypt] has negative political overtones for Americans at this time because of recent world events. For that reason, my wife and I approached the possibility of such a vacation with trepidation, but our interest in human history beckoned us. Our fears were totally put aside by the incredible safety precautions taken by the Egyptian government and the Friendly Planet organization in particular. After a day in that country, I felt more secure than walking hand-in-hand with my wife after dark in our local city. The tour guide assigned to us (Wael) had a doctorate in Egyptology and he took the time at every stop to explain the symbolism of the temples themselves, the architectural artifacts as they related to one another and the relief carvings, answering questions graciously to the satisfaction of our entire group of 36 people. The coordination and scheduling of our living accommodations, meals, transportation, luggage transfer, entry tickets, and "necessary" interim stops appeared to be a finely honed ballet of interacting tourism requirements. Thanks for your attention to all these details! Because of the success of this vacation (our 40th wedding anniversary), while still on the plane en route home, my wife began discussing where our next Friendly Planet trip should be. Ya done good!

We had never taken a Friendly Planet tour before and everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Wael, was just the best, but the ship was a close second. The staff provided service beyond measure -- great food, a spacious room, warm washcloths and hot mint tea when we'd return to the ship each day, no hassle shopping in the jewelry store on board, and a full upper deck where you could send your time visiting with new friends or just watching people go about their everyday work on the shore. We were on the ship for 7 nights and it was such a leisurely trip because we weren't having to move from place to place every couple of days. This was a trip of a life time!

Excellent trip. Over two years ago I went with a pastor and his wife on a Friendly Planet tour of Israel. About half way through the tour, I fell and broke my ankle. Friendly Planet and their associates really went out of their way to take care of me and to coordinate my care in Israel and to orchestrate my trip home. I highly recommend taking any tour arranged by Friendly Planet and, also, purchasing the very reasonable trip insurance.
